Get ready to get the opportunity
Students recognise what they bring, support it with real experiences and practise communicating those experiences more effectively during placement conversations.
Awareness. Readiness. Action.
A 90-minute, interactive, in-person college experience designed primarily for pre-final and final-year students, helping them prepare for placements and for the transition into the professional world.
Explore Ignite →Colleges already invest significantly in aptitude, technical, résumé and interview preparation. Ignite adds a different layer, helping students understand and communicate the person behind the résumé, while beginning to think about what will be expected of them once they enter the professional world.
Ignite looks at both sides of the move from college to work: how students prepare to get the opportunity and how they prepare for what comes after.

Ignite gives students practical placement value now while helping them recognise what they need to develop for the professional world ahead.
An evidence-backed example they can draw on in placement conversations rather than relying only on generic claims.
A personal reflection on the behaviours and areas of readiness they need to keep developing.
One personally chosen action and a date by which they intend to take it.

No. Ignite does not recommend careers or ask students to choose a direction. It helps them think more deliberately about career readiness and identify one action they can begin now.
Ignite is limited to a maximum of 75 students per session so the experience remains genuinely interactive. For larger student cohorts, multiple Ignite sessions can be scheduled.
Each student leaves with an evidence-backed example they can draw on in placement conversations, a personal reflection on career readiness, and one action they choose to take by a date they set for themselves.

For nearly 30 years, Rams Parameswaran built and led technology organisations across the United States and India, working with global financial institutions including Citigroup, Bank of America, BNY Mellon and Fiserv.
Throughout his career, he hired, coached and mentored professionals and saw the same pattern repeatedly: those who thrived understood their strengths, could explain their choices with confidence and took ownership of their direction.
Rams founded The Evolve Foundation to help young people develop that self-understanding earlier.
